Howard County Heart Ball

20449-inter-photWe are proud to participate in the 14th annual Howard County Heart Ball. It will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at the Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Maryland.  The Heart Ball is one of the premier social events in Howard County in support of the American Heart Association’s goal to reduce coronary heart disease, stroke and risk by 25% by the year 2010.

April in La Galería: Peggy K. Duke

peggy09Peggy K. Duke is a professional botanical illustrator working in pen, ink and hand colored prints. SHe has studied the watercolor medium for twenty-five years and has studied oriental brush painting for the last fifteen years. Combining these disciplines has resulted in a series of floral paintings that have been on exhibit at the USDA National Arboretum in Washington, DC and many other galleries throughout the region.
